Application:
Propylene glycol butyl ether series are promising environmentally friendly solvents because of their slight toxicity and pleasant odor. For industrial/household detergent formulations, the safety is very high, which is recognized by many developed countries, especiallyJapan. The evaporation rate is similar to that of Ethylene Glycol Butyl Ether, which is a good substitute for Ethylene Glycol Butyl Ether. It is widely used in coatings, detergents, inks, leather, etc. In the process of dye dissolution, it can be used as a good coupling agent instead of alcoholic solvent. In addition, propylene glycol butyl ether series can also be used as film forming additives, photosensitive adhesive, PS plate cleaning, printing, electronic chemicals, jet engine fuel additives (waterproofing agents), extractants and high boiling point solvents for waterborne coatings.
